The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model Yamaha MT-10 of the construction years 2022 to 2024. This product enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

• The tank bag is placed on the tanking and locks itself with a clear click noise
• The unlocking is done by pressing a belt on the front part of the tank bag
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the tank sack system
• Recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum loading of the tank bag: approx. 3 kg

Scope of delivery and assembly

The tanking basic is included in the tanking basic and an adaptable counterholder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar impact. The tank cover remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it fueling system mainly by the type of locking. While the lock-IT fueling also works with magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanical for the basic model. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It should be noted that a tank bag with lock-IT counterholder cannot be installed on a basic tanking and vice versa, since the systems are not compatible.
