KTM 790 ADVENTURE [2019-2021] - Engine protection plate

The engine protection plate from AXP Racing, specially developed for the KTM 790/890 ADVENTURE/R models, offers outstanding protection and durability. Made from 8mm thick HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), this panel combines extreme durability with light weight, which is only 3.7kg. Unlike aluminum skid plates, the plastic material effectively absorbs noise, resulting in a significantly quieter ride and reducing rock rattling.

The innovative attachment of the plate is not directly to the engine, but uses aluminum brackets at the rear and four attachment points on the front frame. This helps minimize vibration and protect the integrity of the engine. The plate also offers protection for the tank, making additional protective bars unnecessary. An anti-dirt protection and a decoration kit are also included.

Please note that the 890's standard fuel pump guard may collide with this skid plate. It is recommended to use the more compact ROTTWEILER PERFORMANCE product to ensure an optimal fit. The assembly utilizes the unused center stand pivot points, meaning the plate is not compatible with subsequently installed center stands.
