The oil tank with a volume of 3 quart (approx. 3 liters) is specially designed for use with the smaller Sportstter-Kickstarter battery. It is compatible with rigid frames and with swing frames from the years from 1958 to 1964, which have an aluminum-primer, and with models from 1979 to 1984, which have a 4-speed gear and a steel sheet primary.
