The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in motorcycle chain performance and durability. Thanks to the revolutionary Z-ring technology, this advanced chain no longer requires regular relubrication, which was previously required every 1,000 km. This not only saves time but also maintenance costs.

Extensive tests both in the laboratory and on the road have proven that the HPE chain has a service life that is at least equivalent, if not longer, than conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chains. A special feature of this chain is the Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon (ta-C) coating, one of the most advanced forms of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the surface of the bushings and rollers and leads to a reduction in energy losses and an increase in efficiency in the secondary drive.

The ta-C coating combines extreme hardness with a low coefficient of friction, further improving efficiency and minimizing wear. Additionally, eliminating the need for chain cleaning and preventing lubricant splashes during operation helps minimize environmental impact. This innovative technology was developed through intensive research and development work by Regina engineers in Italy and represents a significant advance in motorcycle technology.
